Why Your Business Doesn’t Feel Simple
The ability to quickly create....anything....online has changed lives.
Create content.
Build a webpage.
Launch a product.
Literally a few button clicks away.
But just because you can doesn't mean you should.
When I get clients together in my home, the number one thing I'm helping clients tune into is The Signal.
As you go along it’s harder to tell Signal from Noise.
Because they've built and created so much stuff, and then hired people who create more stuff, The Noise is overwhelming.
Too many ads
Too many funnels
Too many conflicting conversion strategies
Too many mixed messages
Too many offers
Too many team members
Too many agencies
In the pursuit of growth, more is the logical route.
The logic looks sound:
Add more things = growth
But the business and owner don't let go of old as new is added.
After a certain tipping point it all becomes Noise.
Hard to identify the signals coming through from the market, the numbers and the conflicting ideas of the people inside the business.
But in the pursuit of growth and scale the business can't slow down it's quest for MORE.
Yet,
The business doesn't die of starvation.
The owner chokes with indigestion.
The Power Law is natural law.
A minority of actions produce the the majority results.
If the business is working but feels hard then the core is already there.
The fluff just needs clearing away for it to flow.
When I bring them together we spend most of the time clearing complexity.
Not adding extraneous stuff.
Shedding the past and stepping into a new simpler reality.
Clearing away of the Noise.
Tuning into The Signal.
It’s simple if you choose it to be.
