Fear Has Facts
I was on a mindset call this week.
(after meditating, bulletproof coffee and before the gym - Yes, I'm woke AF...)
And I brought up the topic of money mindset.
8 years ago my fear and scarcity around money was extreme.
I'd rarely managed it properly, never had an abundance of it and avoided the topic at all costs.
As I started to create more money, this money mindset stayed with me.
I would check the bank account constantly.
I had every Stripe notification possible.
If a payment for a pay plan failed I would feel it physically.
I was obsessed with the numbers.
Because fear has facts.
If you don't feel like you've got enough money and check your bank account. It is a fact.
If you think you're fat and you jump on the scales it shows a number. It's a fact.
They are indisputable.
They exist.
But you control your attitude and actions towards them.
And this is where most get trapped.
"I'm not going to invest in xx until I make more money"
"I'm not joining a gym until I lose weight"
As soon as that thought is established the very action that will move you towards the goals becomes conditional.
Growth doesn't happen with conditions.
It happens with commitment.
The biggest periods of growth I have ever experienced is when I quieted the fear and went towards my vision.
You can choose to pay attention to the facts.
Feel the fear.
Live in it.
Bathe in it.
And trap yourself.
Or follow your vision.
Fear has facts.
But you have vision.
